Working with Visa Europe
Managing the Visa Europe credit and debit card loyalty programmes and providing advanced analytics and insight from customer transactions to power targeted messages and offers
The challenge was to develop a merchant-funded loyalty proposition that:
- Rewarded customer loyalty with relevant offers that are easy to redeem
- Offered benefits which increase card usage and bring it front of wallet
- Created a tangible benefit to support customer retention and cross sell
- Drove repeat traffic and on-going engagement/ interaction with customers
- Created competitive differentiation
- Was distinct to, but ran alongside other product benefit schemes
The result was an Offers and Rewards Portal, driven through the banks online service channels, funded and supported by great offers from leading retailers across Europe.
The insight gained helps retailers and banks to engage with new and existing customers, providing access to a comprehensive source of information based on customer transactions (CDNA™). It also enables them to better segment and target their marketing efforts, and drive brand loyalty, purchase behaviour and traffic.
The partnership has been so successful that, on 15 November 2011, it was announced Visa Europe has taken a minority stake in Beyond Analysis.
